H&MV Engineering is pleased to announce that our BIM (Building Information Modelling) systems and capabilities have been certified to the ISO 19650-1:2018 and ISO 19650-2:2018 standard by National Standards Authority Ireland (NSAI).

ISO 19650-1:2018 and ISO 19650-2:2018 are the new international standards for managing information over the delivery phase of a built asset using BIM, which frame the principles of BS 1192:2007 and PAS 1192-2:2013 (capital/delivery phase) standards for digital engineering globally.

NSAI independent assessment and certification recognises and endorses digital engineering standards. The ISO 19650-1 and ISO 19650-2 certifications being the highest certification of excellence to those standards.

H&MV has made significant progress in digital design in recent years. Best practice standards have been developed and H&MV is committed to this rapidly developing area.

This certification demonstrates our commitment to best practice and gives our clients confidence and assurance.

The adoption of BIM is becoming more widespread in the Irish construction market.  H&MV is committed to developing our digital technologies and remains focused on keeping pace with the ever changing digital environment while providing the best support to our clients in accordance with the latest international standards.

The publication of ISO 19650 creates an opportunity for companies collaborating on projects to develop and increase a common approach to the management of information. Today’s design and construction solutions require a greater reliance on BIM and digital technologies. Our continued adoption and development of these processes and digital technologies are transforming the way we engineer and design for our clients.
